How we died

People die while writing poems,
shooting animals, arguing, and
in wars fought on the home ground.
People die of diseases, of derivatives
and implications, or simply accusations.
People die in hands of the state
and arms of the loved ones
under the burden of its debt.
People die in more ways than the ants.
